A Holistic Approach to

Retirement Planning

For more than 30 years, Wealth

Management Strategies, Inc. has

focused on helping middle-class

families prepare for retirement

through a comprehensive,

fi duciary-driven approach.

“M

any people assume that fi nancial

planning is only for the rich,”

says Anthony “Tony” Engrassia,

founder and principal of Wealth Management

Strategies, Inc. “It’s the ordinary people in the

middle class who need the most help preparing

for retirement. By taking a holistic approach,

we’re able to give our clients many of the same

advantages that the wealthy have.”

Based in Rocky Mount, Wealth Management

Strategies has built deep roots serving individ-

uals, retirees, and multigenerational families

throughout eastern North Carolina. T e fi rm is

committed to guiding clients throughout their

fi nancial journey by providing thoughtful strat-

egies and comprehensive plans. Every advisor on

the team is also a Certifi ed Financial Fiduciary®,

pledging to act in clients’ best interests while also

meeting the highest standards of service.

“T is is a business about relationships and

trust,” Engrassia says. “We build trust by helping

clients understand what we’re doing and why

we’re doing it. We’re creating plans that allow

our clients to be confi dent they can achieve their

objectives regardless of market or economic con-

ditions. We’re replacing uncertainty with clarity.”

The foundation of the firm’s approach is

the Strategic Freedom Process™, a six-step

strategy designed to integrate every aspect of

a client’s financial life into one coordinated

plan. Instead of focusing on specifi c fi nancial

products, Engrassia’s team prioritizes what

they consider to be T e Five Pillars of Holistic

Wealth Management: Financial Planning, Asset

Management, Tax Management, Protection

Planning, and Legacy Planning.

“Holistic financial planning means that

we’re never looking at just one piece of the puz-

zle,” says Engrassia. “All of these pieces build on

one another, and it’s only when you put them

all together that clients have a plan designed to

address every major component of their fi nan-

cial lives.”

These plans do more than simply grow

wealth, Engrassia explains. They also give

Wealth Management Strategies’ clients the

fi nancial security they need to focus on what

matters most.

“We’re here to give our clients peace of

mind,” Engrassia says. “By providing clear fi nan-

cial guidance and tailored plans, we’re helping

them enjoy their retirement, protect their

families, and approach the future with greater

confi dence.”

The Dividends of Experience

Another important part of Wealth Management

Strategies’ work is providing fi nancial education

for both clients and the community. T e fi rm

publishes a regular newsletter, the Strategic

Freedom Report, providing subscribers with

the latest economic and financial planning

news. Engrassia also regularly teaches fi nancial

planning classes at Carteret Community College

in Morehead City, where he serves clients along

the Crystal Coast.

For Engrassia, education is an extension of

his advisory role. He firmly believes in pass-

ing on his hard-won knowledge to the next

generation.

“We’re starting to see what happens when

older generations don’t share their experience

with younger ones; too many families end up

making the same preventable mistakes simply

because no one has educated them diff erently,”

Engrassia says. “I’ve learned a lot of things in my

career, and I didn’t want to just take all of this

knowledge with me in retirement. By sharing

my experience as a fi nancial advisor, I’m trying

to help everyone avoid costly mistakes.”
